Dear friends, This cheerful line of colorful glass feeders has become the heart of our outdoor sitting area—a little art installation beneath the trees. It’s our first attempt at welcoming hummingbirds, and the anticipation is part of the joy—waiting for that quick flash of wings, that shimmer of movement in the quiet air. Whether or not the birds discover us right away, this project already feels like a success. I hope your fall season is filled with warmth and joy. I am looking forward to campfires and pumpkin picking. Thank you for reading!

I set out on a curvy, windy highway to meet my family for lunch in a nearby town. Fields of corn and soybeans rolled by. After lunch, we drove to the family property, where a pear tree stood heavy with fruit, its branches bowing low under the weight. Mom and I wandered through the grass, picking pears warm from the sun, their skin freckled and sweet-smelling. The day felt like a little treasure we’d stumbled upon—no plan, no rush, just the sweet reward of going wherever the day decided to take us.

Hello, everyone! This is Marian, founder and jewelry designer at girlinpinkskirt shop. Beading is one of my passions, and I’m excited to share it with the Latchet community. I started beading in 2023 and made phone and bag charms. I discovered Tila beads later that year, and since then, they make up a bulk of my designs.
